Files you work with
ToolMint's tools — the visualizer, PDF/Word converter, QR generator, and caption maker — process your files entirely within your own browser, on your own device. Audio, video, PDF, and image files you use with these tools are never uploaded to, or stored on, ToolMint's servers.
Account information
If you choose to create a ToolMint account, we store:
- Your name and email address
- Your password, stored only as a one-way cryptographic hash — we cannot see or recover your actual password
- Saved presets/settings for tools, if you choose to save them
Creating an account is optional. Every tool works fully without one.
Cookies and sessions
If you sign in, ToolMint uses a session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is necessary for the account feature to function and does not track you across other websites.
Advertising
ToolMint displays ads through Google AdSense to keep the site free. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Third-party services
Some tools load code libraries from trusted content delivery networks (such as jsdelivr) to function. These requests may expose your IP address to those services, consistent with normal web browsing.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Since we store minimal data by design, most requests can be fulfilled quickly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as ToolMint grows. Material changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this page.
